Baseball Takes Away Win Over Greenfield

Soledad Aztecs Varsity was victorious over Greenfield, 6-1

Soledad Aztecs Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when Joel Barroso singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Soledad Aztecs Varsity put up three runs in the fourth inning. Soledad Aztecs Varsity batters contributing to the big inning included Diego Morales, Fabian Cabrerra, and Andru Holquin, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Holquin was on the hill for Soledad Aztecs Varsity. He allowed one hit and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven.

Agustin Pantoja was on the pitcher's mound for Greenfield. He allowed three hits and five runs over three innings. Andrew Trujillo and JD Lopez entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and two-thirds innings and one and one-third innings respectively.

Morales, Holquin, Barroso, and Joseph Calderon each collected one hit to lead Soledad Aztecs Varsity. Soledad Aztecs Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Adrian Hernandez had the most chances in the field with seven.

Jaime Soto led Greenfield with one hit in three at bats.
